HUSA: The Final Day in the Holy Land

Today was the last day in Israel for the Heavenly USA missionaries. So without a moment to waste, we took the whole morning practicing some songs to offer something to Jerusalem before we left. We sang in front of Jaffa Gate in the afternoon, then in a plaza in the center of the Old City. During the evening we did a flash mob dance of “Jerusalema” with the Tower of David as our background. We were grateful to have received much encouragement and positive feedback from people passing by. Some people were even inspired to join us in our singing and dancing!

For the rest of the night, we took some time to shop in the hundreds of stores of the Old City. Afterwards, over our final dinner here in Jerusalem, we shared testimonies of the pilgrimage such as reflections, highlights, and deep experiences. To have been able to experience so many aspects of religions, history, and Jesus Christ, we are so blessed to have come on this Pilgrimage. We hope for each and every one of us to bring back not only souvenirs, but the rich spirituality of the Holy Land.

Thank you to every person who contributed to make this pilgrimage successful. God Bless You!
