Welcome back, everyone! We just finished our journey in the Adirondacks!
Day 19: History, Waterfalls, Soccer
Final update of GPA in Paraguay. We spent our last days on the road a lot but it was really worth it. In the past days we had plenty of opportunities to practice having a grateful heart.
Day 18: Kingdom of Heaven on Earth
Monday was spent fulfilling our “GPA serves overseas” mission. We were again in the dirt helping Mother Nature as we helped to restore a community park in the district Surquillo, the neighboring district to Miraflores

Hola! So continuing from where we left off last time, on our first day here in Santiago, we visited Santiago's Memorial Park, where we learned about the various historical figures that bought the Dominican Republic to where it is today as an independent country.

Day 10: Service = Love
For the past week, GPA has been physically investing in Peru! Starting, we worked on beautifying the CARP center where we are staying. We improved the backyard by painting a mural and making a stage.
Day 7: Exploring Leda
On a beautiful Saturday morning, we awoke on our boat to spectacular scenery, the warm sunrise on the Paraguay river. We spent the day observing the nature around us, spotting capybaras or alligators here and there while enjoying the fresh breeze and the calming sound of the water…

After 17 hours of travel, we finally arrived at the Lima International Airport, where we were greeted warmly by our Peruvian national leader Omar Leon Arias. Even at one in the morning, the airport was bustling with activity, honking cars, families waving signs looking for their members..
